How the studio began

Knots in the Sky Handmade began during nursing school as a way to decompress. What started with crocheting for NICU donations quickly grew into something more intentional. Creating by hand became a way to bring care, steadiness, and comfort into tangible form.

As people began connecting with the work, the studio evolved from a personal practice into a small business rooted in craftsmanship, longevity, and thoughtful design.

 

What we believe in

Today, Knots in the Sky focuses on creating plushies and loveys that are more than decorative toys. Each piece is meticulously made using high-quality materials, with durability and detail given the same attention as softness and charm.

This is not fast fashion. It’s slow, considered work for people who value meaning in the things they bring into their homes.
