At Knots in the Sky Handmade, we prioritize a "slow-made" approach to ensure every piece meets our studio’s standard for safety and craftsmanship. Because each item is hand-crocheted in our Central Florida studio, our timelines reflect the dedicated care required to create an heirloom-quality gift.


1. Production & Lead Times

  • Made-to-Order: To maintain the integrity of our hand-stitched goods, please allow 7–14 business days for production before your order ships.

  • Ready-to-Ship: Items within our "Ready to Ship" collection typically process within 3–5 business days.

  • Seasonal Note: During high-volume seasons or local market weekends, lead times may extend slightly. We will notify you via email if your order is impacted by a significant studio delay.

2. Shipping & Delivery

  • Carriers: We ship via USPS and UPS to ensure reliable tracking and delivery.

  • Rates: Shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.

  • Estimates: While we provide estimated transit times, please note that once a package is accepted by the carrier, the delivery timeline is determined by their internal logistics.

3. Order Integrity & Tracking

  • Tracking: You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number once your order leaves our studio. Please allow 24 hours for the carrier to update their system.

  • Address Accuracy: To ensure your keepsakes arrive safely, please double-check your shipping address at checkout. Reshipment costs for incorrect addresses are the responsibility of the buyer.

4. Lost or Stolen Packages

  • If your tracking shows "Delivered" but the package is missing, please check with neighbors or your local carrier office.

  • While we are not responsible for packages once they are marked as delivered, we are happy to provide the documentation needed for you to file a carrier claim.
