Return & Exchange Policy

At Knots in the Sky Handmade, every piece is "slow-made" by hand with a deep commitment to quality and safety. Due to the artisanal nature of our small-batch production and the hygiene standards required for newborn goods, most items are final sale. We want you to love your heirloom; if an issue arises, we are committed to resolving it fairly and professionally.


1. The Nature of Handmade

Because our goods are hand-crocheted, natural variations in stitch, shape, and size are part of the charm of an artisanal product. We do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Minor handmade variations or "character" marks.

  • Color differences due to digital screen settings.

  • Change of mind or "gift-received" preferences.

  • Normal wear and tear over time.

2. Quality Concerns & Incorrect Items

In the rare event that an item arrives damaged or you receive the incorrect order, please contact our studio at mail@knotsinthesky.com within 3 days of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:

  • Your order number.

  • Clear photos of the item and the packaging (if damaged in transit).

  • A brief description of the defect.

Upon review, we will provide a replacement or, if the item was a limited-edition release, a refund to your original payment method.

3. Made-to-Order & Sale Items

  • Custom & Made-to-Order: Once production has begun on your specific piece, the order is considered final sale and cannot be cancelled or refunded.

  • Limited Releases: Pre-ordered and limited-edition items are final sale.

  • Sale Gallery: All items purchased on sale or during a promotional event are final sale.

4. Cancellations

We begin preparing materials and production schedules promptly after an order is placed. While we cannot guarantee a cancellation, please email us immediately if you need to make a request. Orders flagged for security or fraud concerns may be cancelled at our discretion.
